Vaginitis is inflammation of the vagina that can cause itching, discomfort and discharge.1

Mucosamin? vaginal cream is a medical device, which helps with the healing process of the vaginal mucosa and aids in the treatment of painful symptoms of actinic vulvovaginitis caused by radiation treatment of the pelvic region and vulvovaginitis caused during chemotherapy or a combination of both treatments (chemotherapy and radiotherapy).2

How does Mucosamin? Vaginal cream work?

Mucosamin? contains hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate), which is the main component of connective tissue and amino acid precursors of structural proteins of the extracellular matrix.2,3

Mucosamin? is an approved Class IIb medical device and consists of a natural polysaccharide that forms a mucoadhesive layer on the surface epithelial cells.2

Mucosamin? Vaginal Cream reduces painful symptoms by creating a protective layer over erythematous or ulcerated mucosa.2

Mucosamin? Vaginal Cream contains hyaluronic acid and amino acids to promote repair and growth of epithelial and collagen tissue, healing the mucosa.2
